Bowie J. Richard, “Yung Kaptin” passed away on January 18, 2014 at the age of 21 years. Beloved husband of Justine Williamson Richard. Father of Tate Michael and Harper Ann. Son of Lawrence Richard and Tammy Benoit Duhon. Step-son of Michael Duhon and Annie Richard. Brother of Rachelle Duhon, Michael Duhon, Lacey Richard, Christopher Duhon, Brandon Richard and Devin Duhon. Grandson of Suzanne Richard, the late Douglas Richard and Patricia Hebert. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Bowie was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was passionate about his music and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. Services will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to benefit his children.
