Anthony Romano, Jr. passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Ann Gaubert Romano. Father of Steven A. Romano (Beba), Sandra R. Bulmer (David), David P. Romano, Anthony Romano III (Candie) and the late Sonia M. Romano and Jerry M. Romano. Grandfather of Lance A. Romano (Casey), Caitlin V. Romano (Louis), Bethany E. Romano, Cade A. Romano, Carson D Romano, Lanie E. Walls, Gabriella A. Romano, Camille Weaver, Caroline Caver and Carly Nipper. Great Grandfather of Aubree J. Von Wolff, Adelyn J. Von Wolff and Louis W.E. Von Wolff. Son of the late Anthony Romano, Sr. and Josephine Romano. Anthony was a native of Gretna, LA, a resident of Marrero, LA and he worked many years at Devoe Paint and Helm Paint and Supplies. Mr. Anthony served his beloved country as a soldier in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 3 bronze stars, the Army Occupation Medal (JAPAN), the Good Conduct Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the Distinguished Unit Citation Medal. The family would like to thank Omni Home Health Care for their loving care of our father at this very difficult time. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 11AM until 1:30PM.
