Bosit “Boots” Bommarito, III departed this mortal life on March 15, 2021. Loving father of Bosit, IV and Jude Joseph. Former husband of the late Shannon Callais. Devoted son of Bosit, Jr. and Susan. Brother David (Hilary) and Susan B. Malta (Luigi). Uncle of Mallory Meinhardt (John), Nicholas and Abbey Figueroa and Giovani Malta. Great uncle of Karsyn Wilcox, Macy and Mia Meinhardt.
Bos loved making people laugh with his antics and often crude jokes. He could bring sunshine into any situation and for this, he should be remembered. No tears…just a cold beer, a good smoke and a great bike ride for this unforgettable character. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and so many friends.
No flowers, please. He had a very special love for animals, especially his cats. Donations in his memory, made to the Tangipahoa Parish Animal Shelter, 15487 Club Deluxe Road, Hammond, LA 70403 would please him so much.
Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm.
