Brandon Frank Head

On Monday, May 2, 2022, Brandon Frank Head, affectionately known as “Skins”, “Head”, Uncle Head”, “Uncle Frank”, “Uncle Brandon” among many others, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 35. Brandon was born in New Orleans on October 26, 1986 to Daryl Kent and Michele Head. He was raised in Boothville, LA and later relocated to Picayune, MS. Brandon worked in the oil and gas industry for many years and was employed by Hilcorp. Brandon was an avid sportsman, his passion was hunting. He was also an avid gun collector. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was a “friend” to all but so much more to many others. He touched so many lives with his caring and loving personality. He was ONE OF A KIND with a HEART OF GOLD!

Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Head aka “Poppy”, his paternal grandmother, Vivian John aka “Granny”, his Aunt Frankie Head, Aunt Dorothy (Dot-Dot) Merritt, and Aunt Lisa Kent. He is survived by his parents, Daryl Kent and Michele (Glynn) Ledet, his 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Scott, Daryl Jr, Dylan (Christine), Justin (Maegan), Corey, April (Jack), and Alesha (Joseph), his grandmother, Diana Head aka “Nanny”, grandfather, Mack Kent, aunts Lisa (Greg) Ancalade, Sherry Head and Dianne Hoecherl and Uncle Michael (Cynthia) Kent. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Brandon was also proud to be chosen as “Paran” to Jaxon Marino and Chandler Rose Williams.
Brandon was blessed to have 2 “bonus” families. Aunt Lisa and Uncle Greg and their children Tiffanie, Greg Jr “Bubba”, Kristin and Tori as well as Michael and Tina Champlin, their children James (Nikki), Ryan (Beth) and Sabrina and Sofiya, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Friends and family are welcome and encouraged to join in celebrating Brandon’s life on Thursday, May 5, 2022 with a wake beginning at 4:00 p.m. for family and 5:00PM-8:00PM for extended family and friends at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey, LA. He will be laid to rest at 12:00 p.m. at New Palestine Cemetery at 2500 Palestine Road, Picayune, MS on Friday, May 6, 2022 following a short service at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home in Harvey.
