Carolyn Babin Hebert entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Lester L. Hebert, Jr. for 64 years. Daughter of the late Louis Babin, Sr. and Selma Pinell Babin. Loving mother of Lester L. Hebert, III (Karen), Steven W. Hebert (Nanita) and Daniel P. Hebert (Pauline). Grandmother of Lester L “Lee” Hebert, IV (Virginia), Ryan M. Hebert (Christiana), Allison K. Buffington (Drew) and Jacob Hebert (Marissa). Great Grandmother of Gabrielle “Brie” Hebert, Jack Hebert Buffington and Elinore Hebert. Sister of Selma Babin Mock (the late Don), Alexina “Cina” Babin Evans (Gene) and the late Grace Babin Morales (the late Alvin) and Louis C. Babin, Jr. (the late Chieko). Sister-in-law of Beverly Hebert Butera (the late John). Lifelong friend of Miriam “Mim” Brunet. Carolyn was born in Plaquemine, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 218 and Ladies Ballroom. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 11AM until 1:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
