Charles “Dudes” Henry Guillotte (aka Charlie) passed away December 12, 2022 at the age of 86. Born August 18, 1936 to George L. and Lucille N. Guillotte in New Orleans, Louisiana, He spent most of his life in Terrytown, Louisiana before moving to Slidell in 2003 where he enjoyed fishing. Charles admirably served in the U.S. Army and was a dedicated foreman for Avondale Shipyard for 41 years. Survived by his loving son David R. Guillotte (Ruby C. Guillotte) and daughter Robin G. Palmer (John C. Palmer), granddaughters, Mallory L. Haydel, Jennifer L. Guillotte, Morgan F. Barback (David Barback), and grandson Raymond J. Guillotte; his sisters; Ione Guillotte Marks and June Guillotte Leche. He has one Great Granddaughter, Leslie Faye Barback and a Great grandson, Beau Benjamin Barback expected to arrive on December 27, 2022. Charles was preceded in death by his mother Lucille C. Nicholas Guillotte, his father George Louis Guillotte, his sister Yvonne Guillotte Miller and his brother George J. Guillotte. Many nieces, nephews, and friends are left to cherish Charles’ memory, and are encouraged to attend services on Monday, December 19, 2022, at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME located at 2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey, Louisiana, 70058. Visitation will begin at 10:00am for family, and 11:00am for the public. Mass to follow at 1:30pm, a graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
