David Joseph Lore

David Joseph Lore passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Vicki Lore for 35 years. Father of David Clasen (Kim), Kristen Clasen, Michael Lore (Dana), Joseph Lore (Candace), and Andrew Lore. Son of the late Mary Kassing Lore and Gustave Lore. Son-in-law of Bernice Muhar. Brother of Joann Lore Hatty, Gustave "Buddy" Lore, Richard Lore, Sr., Nancy Lore McCloskey, Dennis Lore, Katie Lore, Ann Lore and the late Jane Lore. Brother-in-law of Jan Lore, Kathleen Lore, Pat McCloskey, Phil and Lori Gabal and Andy Muhar. Grandfather of Hunter Lore, Eliza Lore, Maddie Lore, and Micah Lore. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other family and his canine companion, Max. He was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 35 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Verret St. Algiers, LA on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11am. Interment, McDonogh Cemetery. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
