David A. Mayfield went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, June 28, 2016 at the age of 55. Former husband of Karen R. Hearn. Loving son of Bernuce Ladd Mayfield and the late Charles Mayfield. Loving father of Blake Mayfield. Beloved brother of Dwain Mayfield and Steve Mayfield (Kelli). Uncle of Hannah Mayfield, Sydney Mayfield, Jake Mayfield, Tyler Mayfield and Laura Lee Mayfield. David is also survived by many loving friends. He was born in Jefferson Parish and was a lifelong resident of Luling ,LA. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in his memory to Bible Center Church, 422 Barton Avenue, Luling, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 5PM until 7PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 7PM. Graveside Services will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery, El Dorado, Arkansas on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 2PM.
