Deborah Ann Picone Rogers, age 65, was called home to our Lord on March 28, 2017. She was born in New Orleans to the late Norman Picone Sr. and Emma Jean Picone on February 12, 1952. Deborah graduated from Behrman High School in 1970 and married the love of her life Terry John Rogers on August 15, 1970. She dedicated 28 years of service to the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's office. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, gardening and cooking. She loved to make crafts such as wreaths and give them to others in an effort to bring smiles to their faces. She was loved by so many.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Terry Rogers and loving children Russell "Rusty" Rogers (Angele), Lendon "Lee" Rogers (Taryn) and precious grandchildren Chance, Emily, Lendon, Bennett and soon-to-be baby Rogers. Deborah is survived by sisters Marlene Picone Barras (Jerry) and Barbara Picone Spitelera (Gene) as well as brother Norman Picone Jr. She was preceded in death by her sister Lynn Picone DeNicola. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in law Marvin and Sally Rogers, Brenda Boudreaux, Daniel and Linda LeBlanc and best friend and caregiver Carolyn Crabtree.
