Dennis Joseph Strohmeyer

Dennis Joseph Strohmeyer of Gretna, LA, on February 5, 2017, 56 years old, a graduate of University of New Orleans and a former coach and teacher at Mandeville Junior High School as well as with the Jefferson Parish Public School System. He is survived by his sons, Alex Joseph Strohmeyer and Grant Michael Strohmeyer; his daughter, Jacquelyn Frances Strohmeyer; his mother, Frances Pierrottie Strohmeyer; brothers and sisters, Kathleen Strohmeyer Keppel, Susan Strohmeyer Million, Donald Joseph Strohmeyer, and Barbara Strohmeyer McGowan (John) and his former wife, Janice Darce Strohmeyer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Warren Joseph Strohmeyer and his sister, Joan Sandra Strohmeyer Broussard.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Rd., Terrytown, LA, on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until Mass time. Interment will be private.
