Donald "Don" Laughlin

Donald "Don" Laughlin passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Margaret Marchese Laughlin for 60 years. Father of Larry Laughlin (Barbara), Jacqueline Strader (Kent), Scott Laughlin (Christina) and the late Darlene Laughlin Matherne. Son of the late Meritha and George Laughlin. Brother of the late Audrey O'Neal. Grandfather of Amber Matherne, Adelyn Matherne Johnston (Thor), Matthew Chivleatto (Sarah), Amanda Chivleatto Williamson (Beaux), Patrick, Lee, Ryan, Aiden, Ian, and Makaylain Laughlin. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. He retired from the Louisiana Air National Guard as Chief Master Sergeant. He was the owner of a T.V. Repair Business and a photographer. He was a native of Algiers, LA and lived in Belle Chasse, LA for over 40 years and was a resident of Alabama since Hurricane Katrina. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA.
