Gary "Charlie" Hynes, Jr.

Gary “Charlie” Hynes, Jr. passed away peacefully on January 18, 2021 at the age of 49. Beloved husband of Dannell Ortego Hynes. Father of Hayley Hynes and Morgan Boudreaux (Sean). Son of Gary Hynes, Sr. (Debra) and Belinda Darlene Morgan (Michael). Gary was a proud “grandfather-to-be” of his first grandchild. He is also survived by his in-laws, Danny and Wynell Vidal Ortego along with his canine companions, Rocko, Coco and Jojo.

Gary was employed with Star Glass. He and his beloved Dannell were members of the APA League and both enjoyed playing pool with their friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Gathering of Remembrance at Gary and Dannell’s home, 3601 Claire Avenue in Gretna on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 11am to 1pm.

In accordance with current guidelines, everyone must wear their own mask/facial covering and practice distancing.
