Larry Anthony Degeorge

Larry A. DeGeorge, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 87 after a brave battle with ALS. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Harvey, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alvera W. DeGeorge; four children, Anthony H. DeGeorge (Jodie), Larry S. DeGeorge (Shelley), Lori Hare (Don), Rhonda Barrett (John); five grandchildren, Hailee Barrett, Cameron Barrett, Mason Fossier, Gabrielle DeGeorge, Molly DeGeorge; four step-grandchildren Christopher Flotte, Stirling Barrett, Will Hare, Dave Hare and his brother, Francis N. DeGeorge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony G. DeGeorge and Frances Traina DeGeorge, his son, Michael C. DeGeorge, and his daughter-in-law, Jodie F. DeGeorge.
He was a devout Catholic, he loved fixing things and helping others. He was a great husband and father. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 for the family.
