Richard Allen Davis Sr

Richard Allen Davis Sr. passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 59. Richard was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 1, 1962. Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Rosetta Hilbert. Richard is survived by his adoring wife of over forty years, Sharolyn Davis; his loving children, Richard Davis Jr (Tabitha), Stacy Jones (Kevin), Joshua Davis (Candace), Mason Davis, Heather Davis, Sarah Davis, and Crystal Davis; his siblings, Donna Falgout (Michael), Stephen Strong (Cindy), and Barry Davis. Richard is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog "Baby Girl". Richard was a great husband and father, and a man of God. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11am at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway in Gretna, La. A visitation will begin at 10am. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery will immediately follow the service.
