Richard “Bullet” Dean Rosser, Sr. entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2021. Father of Charlotte Rosser, Richard Rosser, Jr. (Lauren), Brandie Rosser, Krystal Rosser, and Brittney Ramos (Duglas). Grandfather of Ryan Guthrie, Jr. (Destiny), Nicholas Guthrie (Brianna), Brooke Rosser, Haley Rosser, William Rosser, Erick Rosser (Daja), Briah Haywood, Arayah Haywood, Duglas Ramos, Jr. Great-grandfather of Carter Guthrie, Nicholas Guthrie, Jr., Edynn Rosser. Brother of Jimmie Rosser (Deborah). Preceded in death by his parents Vera Kathryn Boston Rosser and Wallace Paul Rosser Sr., his sisters Vera “Paulette” Rosser Dozert (late Albert) and Jackie Yvonne Rosser, his brothers Wallace Rosser Jr., Ronnie Rosser Sr. and Johnny Rosser Sr (late Barbara). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 67 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Belle Chasse, LA. Bullet spent his career with Crescent Towing until retirement in 2007 after 33 years of service and recipient of numerous safety awards. He was a member of the Seafarers International Union and a recorded member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cooking for family and friends, an avid LSU and Green Bay fan, and the Mississippi River was his place of peace. He was never late for work and was always home on time. He will be forever remembered as the best at his job and trained many river professionals. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 9 AM until 10:45 AM when words of remembrance will be shared.
