Steven Patrick Jeanfreau, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the age of 26. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Edmond G. Jeanfreau, Sr and Randolph “Randy” Bordlee, and by his aunts Elizabeth “Biffy” Bordlee DeBuys and Julia Cramer Bordlee. He is survived by his parents Edmond G. Jeanfreau Jr and Cynthia “Cindy” Bordlee Jeanfreau, his brother Christopher Jeanfreau, his grandmothers Marie Picou Jeanfreau and Patsy Hebert Bordlee, nine aunts and uncles, and twelve cousins. Steven was born on May 11, 1995, in Lawrenceville, GA. He graduated from Dacula High School, attended Georgia Tech, and graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor degree in Architecture and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He moved to Kansas City, MO in 2019 to work as a VDC engineer for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. Steven will forever be remembered by his friends and family for his genuine smile, artistic ingenuity, and a genuine love for all. Family and friends are invited to Steven’s memorial services at Christ the King Catholic Church at 535 Deerfield Rd, Terrytown, LA, 70056, Saturday, March 19, 2022. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial mass at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the American Heart Association, in memory of Steven’s grandfathers and aunts, or to the charity of your choice.
