Susan Rosabal Devlin succumbed to Primary Progressive Aphasia Dementia on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023. She was 71 years old. Susan graduated from Archbishop Blenk High School in 1969. Following two years of study at the University of New Orleans she wed the love of her life and remained married until her passing. She is the daughter of the late Mannie Rosabal and Constance Johnson Rosabal. The beloved wife of Edward C Devlin III, for 51 years. Mother of Col Shane M Devlin (USAF) and his wife Lisa L Devlin, Shana D Boudreaux and her husband Shane K Boudreaux. Grandmother of Ethan and Liam Devlin, and Evan Boudreaux. Although her primary occupation was a homemaker, her strong-willed personality and fun-loving spirit led her to enjoy traveling with family and friends, attending Crescent City School of Bartending followed by a newfound occupation as a mixologist at Mike Anderson’s Seafood restaurant in the French Quarter. Being a resident of Plaquemines Parrish for the majority of her life, fellow residents may best remember her jogging MILES up and down Highway 23. She loved fast cars, fun times, and her beloved pets. SHE IS LOVED AND GREATLY MISSED!
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11 AM.
