Terry J. Legendre

Terry J. Legendre passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022 surrounded by his beloved wife and loved ones. Loving husband of 51 years to Eleanor Roux Legendre. Brother of Cheryl Lee Rojas (John), and Cheryl Ann Dufrene (Daniel). Uncle of Todd Leglue (Alecia). Preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Trosclair Legendre and Adley J. Legendre. Also survived by other loving relatives and many friends.

Terry graduated from West Jefferson High School, Class of 1965 and served his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. After his military service, he attended Nicholl’s State University in Thibodaux. Terry took a sales position for Leson Chevrolet and Superior Pontiac/Superior Honda before retiring from Gator Supply Company in 2019. He and his beloved Eleanor flipped houses, enjoyed working in the yard and spending weekends at their lake house in Mississippi. Terry never met a stranger and enjoyed talking with anyone. He and Eleanor loved to travel and visiting with family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

A Memorial graveside service will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:30am.
