Tjesimir Glamuzina entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2021 after a brave nine-month fight with cancer. Beloved father of Mary Glamuniza (Kevin Martinez Sanchez), Josip Glamuzina, and Katarina Glamuzina. Son of the late Joze Glamuzina and Sofija Zderic Glamuzina. Brother of Ivan Glamuzina, Ante Glamuzina, Mara Lescesen, Branka Furlan, Dana Culina, Masa Jerkovic, and the late Mirjane-Mire Preljuvic, and the late Jure Glamuzina who passed away at age 6. Former husband of Anita Zvonar Glamuzina. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Age 63 years, a native of Mostina, Croatia, and a resident of Empire, LA. Tjeso was raised in Croatia and was a hard worker from the age of 13. He was a cook in the Croatian Army, and even built his own home at the age of 16. Tjeso came to the United States in 1981 and worked from the ground up as a commercial oyster fisherman in Plaquemines Parish. He loved his family dearly and was a wonderful father to his children. He enjoyed cooking especially for the Croatian American Society and local community, and was famous for his barbeque fish and his oysters. He was the life of the party and a legendary character, always laughing and smiling, never meeting a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all.
