Abner Joseph Penton

Abner Joseph Penton passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Lois Penton for 65 years. Father of Keith Penton, Kathy Treadaway (Danny), and Scott Penton. Son of the late Antoinette Gertrude Stiles. Brother of Susan Stiles Yoho and the late Marie Penton Soulie and John Terrell Penton. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, his uncle and longtime friend, Charles "Buddy" Boudreaux and a host of nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of the former American Cyanamide Company are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 1pm.
