Aenne Popken Dobbs, a retired sales clerk with Krauss, Maison Blanche, and Dillards Department stores, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011. Beloved wife of the late James P. Dobbs. Daughter of the late Walter Popken and Anna Salge Popken. Sister of Wilma Thompson, Waltraut Ulbrich, Sigrid Patz, and the late Heinz Popken and Karl Egon Salge. Aunt of Sylvia Gutman, Yvonne Latzke, and a host of others. Age 83 years, a native of Germany, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial Servie at Love Lutheran Church, 3730 MacArthur Blvd., Algiers, LA on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time.
