Agnes Ann Michel

For twenty-two years, after her mother’s death, her care was provided by her cousins, Philip F. Fricano Jr. and Ann Fricano Woods. 

Agnes was a member of Our Lady’s Altar Society and lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Marrero. She participated in various St. Joseph’s Altars and processions. She was a member of the Krewe of King Arthur for over forty years. Agnes loved her canine babies Fred, Fefe, and Agnes.

Although Agnes had to face many obstacles that did not stand in her way. She was bilingual speaking both Italian and English. Her feistiness and determination outweighed any of her disabilities. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey on Monday, June 12, 2023 beginning at 11AM until 1:30PM. A funeral mass will begin at 1:30PM with interment to follow immediately at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., in Gretna.
