Albert Joseph Adams

Albert J. “ Al the Barber” Adams passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Mary Catherine Adams for over 40 years. Father of Keith J. Adams, Kevin M. Adams, and Kaira M. Adams. Step-father of John D. Nagin (Vicky) and Dena M. Cotton (Richard).  Son of the late  Eugenia and Dalvis Adams. Brother of the late Dolvis Adams. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a barber in Gretna for 70 years and a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 60 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11am.
