Albert Leo

Albert Leo passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Vera Grabert Leo. Father of Mary Jane Dupuis (Rodney Sr.), Violet Marie Dickinson (Roy), Minnie Maria Gehringer (Robert), Darrel Albert (Jo Alice), Ronald Pasquale and Keith Joseph Leo. Brother of the late Minnie DiCarlo, Ernest Anthony Leo, Joseph Anthony, Angelo, Tony, and John Felice. Survived by 13 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Son of the late Pasquale and Marie Antoinette Leo. Preceded in death by grandchild Dawn Marie Leo. Mr. Leo served in the US Navy during World War II and received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Age 90 years and a native of Columbus, OH. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also members of VFW Post 7307 Marrero, LA and staff and residents of Our Lady of Wisdom are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Wisdom, 5600 Gen. DeGaulle Dr., Algiers, LA on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 9 AM until Funeral Mass time at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
