Albert "Monty" Montana

Albert “Monty” Montana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the age of 91. Born in Maracas, St. Joseph, Trinidad, Albert moved to the United States in 1970 and has been a resident of Marrero for the past 30 years. He is preceded in death by his mother, Perferta Hackett Montana; his father, Marco Montana; brother Canute Montana; sister, Suie Montana; and grandson, Victor Montano. Beloved husband of Mary Grace Montano. Loving father to Angelita Montana, Sylvina Montana, Sandra Montano, Victor Rudolph Montano and Prince Grant. Also survived by his sisters, Colleen Lendor and Dolly Francis; brothers, Sunny Montana and Peter Montana; 10 Grandchildren, 7 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to help offset funeral cost. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072 on Monday, July 20, 2015 beginning at 10AM with a Funeral Mass immediately following at 1PM. Interment will be private.
