“YOU CAN’T JUST TREAT PEOPLE ANY KIND OF WAY!” powerful words of wisdom repeatedly echoed and lived by someone So young. Alec Nicholas Pelas born January 27, 2002. A name strong within itself. Alec meaning; protector of mankind and Nicholas meaning; victory of the people. He lived his life doing just as he proclaimed. He had a softness about him, always seeing and loving on people just as they were. Forever the jokester, making it his mission to put a smile on your face especially if he felt you needed cheering up. Probably never knowing just how powerful and impactful he was and would ultimately become. Alec became a true hero in his final moments on November 3, 2024 by donating his organs to several families fighting for their own lives, thus living up to his given name as a victorious protector of the people. Alec lived a humble life, just a boy from Down The Road. In typical southern fashion he’d spend most of his days outdoors doing the things he loved (fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, boating, or shrimping). He’d like to settle down to some of his favorite foods and snacks (fried chicken, smothered green beans, pickled okra, hot fries, hot pickles, and sprite). He’d love to watch horror movies but was too “scary” to watch the movies alone. Though he lived a simple life Alec wasn’t ordinary, he was absolutely extraordinary! He truly had a gift! The gift of a beautiful kind heart so filled with compassion that he spread love and comfort to so many, both in life and death. He allowed peace and refuge to his loved ones and now he has found peace and refuge in God's open arms, welcoming him back home. He will be remembered for all the light and love he shared with his family. He truly loved each of them, and he made sure they all felt that. Alec will now and forever be unimaginably missed each moment of each day by his mom, Leddie DeMolle (Curry), his dad, Patrick Pelas, and siblings, Gage Attuso (Marc), and Gabrielle Pelas (Zack). He will belovingly remembered by his grandparents, Hewitt Pelas, Layton and Joyce DeMolle, and Lettie (Milton) Marinovich. He will also be mourned by many aunts and uncles, Candice (Mikey) Morris, Owen (Cathie) DeMolle, Tony (Melissa) DeMolle, Kyle (Jenny) Marinovich, James (Anita) Pelas, Misty (Jeff) Pelas, Jade Marinovich and Bobbie Jean Turner, among many others. He will be dearly missed by countless cousins including Cody, Casie, Remy, Mercedes, Mackenzie, Mason, Bailey, Drake, Travis, Ava, Haley, Markell, Tayler and numerous others. Alec was welcomed by his angels that preceded him, his great grandmother, Barbara Buras Brown, his grandmother, Patricia Pelas, and his nanny, Melissa Brown.
