Alfred "Rudy" Dufrene

Alfred “Rudy” Dufrene of Westwego and Marrero, entered into eternal rest peacefully on July 3, 2014 after a long illness. He was 83 years of age. Beloved husband of 62 years to Evelyn Reneman Dufrene. Father of the late Karen Ann Dufrene who passed away the day after she was born. Son of the late Alfred Adam Dufrene and Hilda Camardelle Dufrene. Son-in-law of the late Louis Pelous, Sr. and Ethel Reneman Pelous. Brother of the late Reynold Dufrene (Eva), Jeanette Reneman Matherne (the late Art Reneman and Harry Matherne) andTrudy Morvant (Bobby). Brother-in-law of the late Louis Pelous Jr. (the late Argie), Elaine Pelous Parro LeBeau (Louis Roy) and Arthur Pelous (Claudia). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed.
Rudy served his country in the U.S. Army and later retired from the Xerox Corp. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 7307.
