Alice Cunningham Morrow

Alice Cunningham Morrow passed away Friday, January 20, 2012. A native of Monroeville, Alabama and 50 year resident of Gretna. She was a Realtor for 32 years and member of the Million Dollar Club. Cherished mother of Debra Sue Miller (Clyde), Mary Jo Scovotto (Pop), Aliceia S. Alexander (Ricky) and the late Marsha Lee Scovotto (Dallas). Devoted grandmother of Brandon (Hollie), Alex (Destinee), Chase, Anthony, Corbett, Joseph, and Samuel. Great grandmother of Kristiana Alicia, Peyton, and Cody. Also survived by relatives Betty Peterson (Al), Sarah Reddy (John), Steven Boyington (Sharon) and Staci Thompson (Benjamin). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Lottie Simpson and siblings Colleen, Carolyn, Lottie, James, and Preston. A caring and devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. A special thank you to the staff of St. Luke’s Medical Center and to St. Margaret’s Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion rendered to her and the family during her illness. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
