Alice Marie Cortez Creppel Savoie, age 90, died Sunday, January 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Savoie was a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA for the last 40 years.

Loving and devoted wife of the late Elson Paul Savoie and the late Percy Creppel Sr, loving daughter of the late Lucien J. Cortez Sr. and Azema Marie Kinler Cortez. Loving and devoted mother of Peggy Jo Creppel Breaux (late Danny Sr.) and the late Percy Creppel Jr. (Pam), and stepmother of Errol Savoie (Suzzanne), Debra Haines (Richard), and the late Lisa Woolsey (Ed). Grandmother of the late Raquel Coulon, Danny Breaux Jr. (Kathy), Chad Creppel (Courtney), Rick Creppel (Carla), bonus grandmother of 6. Great Grandmother of Skylar, Danny III, Dustin, Emma, Grant, Grayson and Caroline. Great Great Grandmother of Isabella, Adaline, Emily, Grace and Emery. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She lovingly cherished her time spent with Ray and Tiffany Lassiegne.

Her favorite pastime was being with her grandchildren. She never met a stranger and loved everyone wholeheartedly.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1st from 9:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 4th St, Westwego, LA. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 P.M. with interment to immediately after in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Gates of Heaven Mausoleum. Arrangements by Mothe Funeral Home.
