Allen Joseph Autin

Allen Joseph Autin passed away on October 29, 2011 at the age of 67 years. Beloved husband of Mary “Betty” Bourgeois Autin. Step-father of Julie Thibodeaux, Lisa Schmidt, Arthur Prestenbach, Jr., Kevin and Michael Prestenbach (Mona). Son of the late Alex J. Autin, Sr. and Marie Chaisson Autin. Brother of Mary Ann DeSalvo, Joyce Naquin, Gerald, Gerard “Punny” Autin and the late Alex “Bozo” Autin, Jr. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was a native of Marrero, LA, resided in Westwego, LA for 16 years, was retired from the Louisiana National Guard and was an equipment operator. Relatives, friends and members of the Nicholson Golden Age Club, American Legion Post 222, Amvets Post 38 (where he was Commander) and 159th C.E.S. (Civil Engineering Squadron) are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 7 PM.
