Alma Talbot Termini

November 7, 1933 — July 18, 2014

Alma Talbot Termini passed away at Belle Vie Living Center on July 18, 2014 at the age of 80. She was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Beloved wife of Joseph Termini. Daughter of the late Samuel and Victoria Talbot. Sister of Katherine Talbot Leonard, and the late Sam and Charles Talbot. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alma’s career spanned sixty years with five area banks as a Senior Officer in charge of area branches. She fostered the careers of hundreds of young men and women who were entering the banking industry. Her friendly attitude made her never too busy to assist customers and answers questions, which made the customers appreciate the bank. Her many accomplishments include, the organization and development of the Bank of the South which was later sold to the Bank of Louisiana, President of the Employees Association and the first woman to join the Gretna Rotary Club. She was a devout Catholic who loved the Lord with all her heart.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy. Harvey LA. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna LA. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9 am until funeral time.
