Aloysia Buras Strohmeyer passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. Beloved wife of Dale Strohmeyer for 47 years. Loving mother of Jan Strohmeyer Brien (David). Grandmother, “Mimi” of Abby and Josh Brien. Sister of A. J. Buras (Shirley) and the late Carol Jean Rainey. Sister-in-law of Ann Strohmeyer Rodriguez (Michael). Daughter of the late Irma Terrebonne and Cyprian Buras. Age, 68 years. A native of Gretna and a resident of Harvey, LA. Mrs. Strohmeyer was a 50 year graduate of Holy Name of Mary School, Algiers, LA. She will be missed by all who have been touched by her life. Her giving heart, friendliness and compassion will live on.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of K-Paul Louisiana Enterprises, Inc., are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Martha Catholic Church, Harvey, LA on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10 AM. Interment, McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, June 6, 2013
