Alton Sylvester Arcement

Alton Sylvester Arcement passed away on December 16, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Rose Badeaux Arcement. Father of Paula Butler (husband Steven) and Deborah Hepting (husband Kris). Grandfather of Robert Paul, Jessica and Stephanie Gonzalez, Britnie and Kristopher Alton Hepting. Brother of Hilton Arcement and the late Johnny Arcement. Son of the late Adeline DeGrise Arcement Allemand, Sylvester Arcement and Abel Allemand. Son-in-law of the late Helen and Paul Badeaux.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later retired from Johns-Manville after nearly 40 years of dedicated service. He was a member of American Legion Post 222 and the V.F.W.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, 600 2nd Avenue in Harvey for 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Masses at St. Rosalie Church are preferred or donations to the American Heart Association ( www.heart.org ).
