Alvin Chester Goodwyne

Alvin Chester Goodwyne passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Beloved husband of Anne Mouras Goodwyne. Former husband of Mary Jane Kilday and father of Chris Goodwyne (Camille), Laurie Gallina (Jack), Dan Goodwyne (Silvia) and James Goodwyne (Stacy). Step father of Elizabeth M. Homan (Jason) and Michael J. Mouras (Tami). Brother of Judith G. Miranti (the late Vincent) and Francis J. Goodwyne (Nancy). Also survived by 11 grandchildren, his uncle Francis Arnona (Rai), his special nephews Vincent Miranti and Sean McCarthy and niece Alison McCarthy. He will be sadly missed by many friends including Boston Club West Members and the kids of Drake Lane. Mr. Goodwyne was Division Production Manager for Louisiana Land and Exploration. He was a member of the American Petroleum Industry-4 Mile Club, and the Pi Epsilon Tau Fraternity. Mr. Goodwyne was an avid golfer, and a member of the Lakewood and English Turn Country Club. He was a 1960 graduate of LSU and a lifelong LSU fan. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the memorial Mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 6201 Stratford Pl. Algiers, LA on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 1PM. Interment will be private. A visitation will begin at the church at 12 noon.
