Alvin I. Hebert, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved and loving husband of 66 years to Kathlyn Dickson Hebert. Son of the late Waldo I. Hebert and Leonise Cortez Hebert. Father of Deborah Burlette (Husband Mervin), Randy Hebert (Wife Cheri), Andrea Stumpf, and the late Alvin I. Hebert, Jr. Grandfather of Troy, Brigette, Brandy, Chad, Chantel, Megan, Katelyn, Kayla and Collin. Great Grandfather of Ryan, Sean, Madelyn, Ethan and 1 expected great grandchild. Brother of the late Lloyd Hebert. He was born in Algiers, LA and resided in Belle Chasse, LA for the past 47 years. He served in the United States Army for 21 years and retired from Chevron Chemical Plant in Belle Chasse after 22 years. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 10AM until 1PM.
