Alvin J. Rink

Alvin J. Rink, age 74 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Beloved husband of 38 years to Carolyn A. Rink. Son of the late John Rink, Sr. and Etiennette Bergeron Rink. Brother of John Rink, Jr. (the late Rosemary), Eldridge Rink (Cathy), Verdie Enloe (the late Richard), Dolores Breaux (Daniel) and the late Helen Hoffman and Lorena Rink. Brother-in-law of Joseph Jude Adorno (Mary Anne) and the late Barbarann Adorno. Also survived a host of nieces and nephews. Alvin served his country for 3 years while enlisted in the United States Army. He was a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 9AM until 11:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:30AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
