Alvin J. Treadaway, Sr.

Alvin J. Treadaway, Sr. passed away on November 13, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Gloria Gerard Treadaway. Father of Alvin J. Treadaway, Jr. (wife Cathy), Michael Treadaway (wife Anne) and the late Helen T. Cali (husband Frank). Brother of Donald and Bobby Treadaway, the late Joseph and Irwin Treadaway and Mary Donewar. Grandfather of Christopher, Jessica, Gregory, Frank Jr., Jared, Talisa and Luke. Great-grandfather of Caitlin, Gregory Jr., Gracie, Brianna, Helena, Tye and Harper.
He was employed as a longshoreman with Local 3000 for 30 years. In his youth, he boxed and taught amateur and professional ranks for the Eagle Boxing Club. He was also an avid fisherman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
