Alvin J. Uzee, Sr.

Alvin J. Uzee, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Uzee. Loving father of Alvin J. Uzee, Jr. (Wife Terri), Tammy Boudreaux (Husband Ken, Jr.) and Melissa Levy (Husband Jack). Loving “Paw Paw” of Andrew, Tony, Lauren, Timothy, Jr., Chance, Kenneth, III, Jaclyn (Husband Jeramie) and Jillian. Great Grandfather of Alli, Julianne and Jenna. Son of the late Abel Uzee and Marguerite Bernard Uzee. Brother of the late Ernest Uzee, Ella Mae Armand, Evelyn LeBlanc and Earline Sapia. Alvin is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was born in Lockport, LA and resided in Marrero, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 15, 2014 from 9AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1PM. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum (Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery), Westwego, LA.
