Amelia Jean Bennett

Amelia Jean Greenwald Bennett passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of Henry R. Bennett. Mother of Marion McAllister and James Bennett, Sr. (Lottie). Daughter of the late Mary Francis Didion GreeNwald and Henry Greenwald. Sister of the late Marion Foster, Dorothy Luscher, Louise Branecki, Roy Greenwald. Grandmother of Dale McAllister, Susan Saab, Jacqueline Kennedy, Bruce McAllister, II, James Alan, Jr., Heather Bennett, Kelly Bennett and the late Sandra Ann McAllister and Seth Coleman. Also survived by10 great grandchildren. Amelia was a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, a resident of Collingswood, New Jersey and a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 12 years. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mothe Funeral Homes is assisting the family during this time.
