Ana Luisa Serret Giron entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Carlos Giron. Daughter of the late Osvaldo Serret and Iluminada Serret. Loving and devoted mother of Carlos O. Giron and wife Cindy of Amite, LA; George L. Giron and wife Kelly of Loranger, LA; Anna Maria G. Miller and husband Fred of Algiers, LA and Ana Margaret Giron of Loranger, LA. Sister of Jesus Jorge Serret, Maria Antonia Serret Gerardo, Dulce Maria Serret, the late Osvaldo Ernesto Serret, Jose Luis Serret, and Maria Magdalena Serret Ricardo. Ana is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. She was born in Santiago, Cuba and resided in Amite, LA. A visitation will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Road, Terrytown, LA on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 11AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
