Andrew Henry Kraus, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 13, 2012 at the age of 76. Beloved and loving husband of Marjorie Mahler Kraus. Son of the late Andrew Henry Kraus, Sr. and Martha Evelyn Ramsey Kraus. Brother of Douglas Paul Kraus (Sharon) and Russell Bayne Kraus (Jeannie). Brother-in-law of Beverly M. Boggs, Carrielou M. Rupe, William J. Mahler, Jr. and Robert W. Mahler. Grandson of the late Andrew Kraus and Mary Cuny and Thomas Henry Ramsey and Emma Donewar. Step-Grandson of the late Julius Baudean and Loretta Kerner. He attended McDonogh 26 School, Trinity Lutheran School, St. John Lutheran School, Concordia Lutheran School in Austin, Texas and Gretna High School. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was born in New Orleans and resided in Gretna. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, June 17, 2012 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 9AM until 10:30AM. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Algiers, LA on Wednesday at 11AM.
