Andrew Piskorik

Andrew “Andy” Piskorik entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 67 years to Elwanda Lee Piskorik. Father of Pamela P. White (Charles) and Mary P. Cullum (John). Grandfather of Tamara Ogren (Matthew), Tiara Brauer (Jeff) and Tessica Holechek (Stephen). Great grandfather of Talia Ogren, Silas Ogren, Eden Ogren, Teo Ogren, Ameleah Brauer and Davis Brauer. Brother of the late John Piskorik, Michael Piskorik, Steve Piskorik, Mary Piskorik, Ann Piskorik Foremsky, George Piskorik and Helen Piskorik Bills. Andy was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps for 3 years while serving in WWII. He received the American Theater Ribbon, Victory Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He retired from Halliburton Oil Well Cementing Company after serving 33 years. He was also a member of DeGaulle Drive Church of Christ. He was born in Duquesne, PA and was a resident of Harvey, LA for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, April 19,2012 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Information: 504-366-4343.
