Andrew Paul Schaubhut, Jr. passed away on January 3, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Lida Gaida Schaubhut of London, England. Father of Lido Paul Schaubhut (Jean Cerny) and Diana Maria Schaubhut. Grandfather of Lida S. Wiley (Michael), Karla S. Youngberg (Kyle) and Lido Dominic Schaubhut. Great-grandfather of Paul, Ruth, Oliver, Gloria and Calvin Wiley. Brother of Huey Schaubhut (Florence), Joycelyn Bourgeois (Hendrix “Eppie”), Cynthia Lawson (Borland), the late Karl and Alton Schaubhut. Brother-in-law of Carmen Schaubhut. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Andrew served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and achieved the rank of Fireman 2nd Class.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Algiers Point, LA on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 10 AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
