Andrew H. Schurb passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the age of 91. Beloved son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Schurb. Brother of the late Eliska Scherer and Anna Cherbonnier. Uncle of Carol DeVille, Marjorie Ciaccio, Sr. Francetta Scherer, Ben Cherbonnier, Elizabeth Lloyd, Elaine Wirth and the late Chester Scherer, Russell Scherer and Jack Scherer. Dear Friend of Lorraine Johnson. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. He was employed as an electrician with Public Belt Railroad. Andrew served in the US Navy during World War II. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 1PM until 3PM.
