Angela Pelzer

Angela Scanio Pelzer passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the age of 60 due to complications from pancreatic cancer. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on November 11, 1950 to Maria Ferrante Scanio and the late Sal Scanio. Angela moved back recently from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Harvey, LA to be close to family after her diagnosis. Angela had a successful career as a VP of Operations in Aesthetic Medicine and heart fully gave to her community and those in need. She was an inspirational and loving mother. Angela is survived by daughter, Erika Pelzer and son-in-law, Christian Kline. She also is survived by brother, Salvador Scanio and sister-in-law, Katie Scanio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 9 AM until 11 AM.
