ANNA MARY CENTANNI BROCATO, on Friday, July 15, 2011, age 79. Anna has joined her late husband, Santo Brocato, in Our Father’s Heavenly Kingdom. Beloved mother of Santo Brocato, Jr., Charlene Brocato Davis, Michael A. Brocato, and Christopher J. Brocato. Mother-in-law of Judy Darcey Brocato, Natividad Brocato, and the late William L. Davis. Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Santo F., Andrew, Leo and the late Nicholas Brocato. Sister of Vincent Centanni, Sr., Antoinette C. Decker, Rosary C. Henry and the late Rosario, Frank, and Angelo Centanni. Daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Prestigiacomo Centanni. Also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Anna was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Third Order of Mary, and the Altar Society. She faithfully attended Mass at St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church and later at Holy Name of Mary, both in Algiers. She was also a part of the group led by Fr. Cyprian Ongiro that made rosaries for missions in Africa. Anna never met a stranger and was blessed with many good friends in her lifetime.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
