Anna Mae Tierney Juno Leonard

Anna Mae Tierney Juno Leonard, age 93 passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Harold J. Juno, Sr. by first marriage and the late Peter J. Leonard for 65 years by second marriage.  Loving mother of Patricia Leonard (the late Joe Manale), Melanie Coulter (the late Scott) and the late Harold Juno, Jr.  Mother-in-law to Kim Z. Juno.  Maw Mae to Nicole Fricke (Carl), Josh P. Juno and her Great Granddaughter, Jade Tudela.  Anna Mae was born April 22, 1930 to the late John J. Tierney, Jr. and the late Grace R. Webber Tierney.  Sister of Roland Tierney (Gayle) and the late Catherine Wilson and the late John J. Tierney, III.  Sister-in-law to Darnell H. Tierney.  Anna Mae is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and many caring family and friends.  Anna Mae was a lifelong resident of Algiers.  She graduated from Martin Behrman High School Class of 1947, a homemaker and one of her favorite spots was the “Crow’s Nest” and she enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting  and her many other talents she had.  Special appreciation to Chunary, Cheri, Cassie, Jackie, Janet and everyone at Serenity Hospice for their loving care given to our mom.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, Louisiana on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 9AM until 11AM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11AM.  Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com
