Anna Dussie Levron Kinler Ockman entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Joseph Calvin Ockman by second marriage and the late Dolen Joseph Kinler by first marriage. Daughter of the late Xavier and Edna Henry Levron. Mother of Larry Kinler (Pat), Leonard Kinler (Juanita) and Molly Phillips. Step mother of Barbara Julius (Jack), Calvin Ockman (Pat), Kenneth Ockman, Dick Ockman and Sheila Babin (Paul). Grandmother of Kimberly Breaux (Troy), Michelle Marie Ryals (Jay Sr.), Pamela Ramsey (Danny), Byron Kinler (Kelly), Nicole Caulfield (Jules Jr.), Amanda Latonis (Matthew) and Carly Phillips. Great Grandmother of Brittany Guidroz (Ryan), Jay Ryals Jr. (Holly), Brennon Breaux, Dillan Ryals, Destin Ryals, Kaileigh Kinler, Ashley Ramsey, Korynne Caulfield, Grace Ramsey, Koby Caulfield, EmmyJo Ramsey and Sadie Latonis. Great great grandmother of Zoe Guidroz and Hunter Ryals. Also survived by 10 step grandchildren and many step great grandchildren. Dussie was born in Bourg, LA and was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. She worked 24 years in the Jefferson Parish School System as a Cafeteria Manager. She was a graduate of Gretna High School in 1944. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Thomas Melancon and Staff, Concerned Care Home Health and Hospice Care, the sitters, Barbara, Jennifer, Bree, Janice and Richonda “Brittany” for their love and care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 18,2012 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11AM.
