Anna Monteleone Robicheaux

Anna Monteleone Robicheaux passed away on August 4, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Major Lawrence J. “L.J.” Robicheaux Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.). Mother of Diane Robicheaux Kumpf and Linda Maraist (husband Jacques). Grandmother of Lauren D’Armond (husband Chad) and Leslie Nuccio (husband Christopher). Great-grandmother of Anne D’Armond and Abigail Nuccio. Sister of the late Peter Monteleone. Aunt of Carmen Piazza and Ruth Ellen Moran. Daughter of the late Annie Seminara Monteleone and Gustave Monteleone. Special thanks to her caregivers, Blanca and Liz for their love and compassion.
As an animal advocate and lover of God’s creatures, she is also survived by her pets and animal friends: Sunny, Tigger, Molly, Scarlett, Ti Boy, Teetsie the raccoon and Samuel H. the squirrel.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Louisiana S.P.C.A. ( www.la-spca.org ) or PAWS ( www.paws4life.org ). She was also a life member of Terrytown Golden Agers. She will be sadly missed but her life will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. A traditional jazz funeral and interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery #1.
