Annabelle Popich O'Brien

Annabelle Popich O’Brien, loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Warren Joseph O’Brien. Daughter of the late John Popich and Annie Ragas Popich. Loving and devoted mother of Wendy O. Scobel (E.L.), Gary S. O’Brien and the late Danny Joseph O’Brien, Sr. Grandmother of Erin, Gena’, Trae, Lauren, Kelli, Julie, Stephen, Gretchen, Adrienne, Nicholas, Hollie, Danny Joe and Mark. Annabelle is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is the sister of Thomas Popich, Mae Fazende, Gloria Sketchler and the late John Popich and Joseph Popich. Annabelle was a volunteer for many years at Caring Hands and a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Good Harbor Catholic Church in Buras, LA. Annabelle was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. She is now reunited with her loved ones and with Jesus whom she faithfully served. A Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 8:30AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11AM. Interment will be in Nairn Cemetery in Nairn, LA.
